Vacaville Man Arrested After Pursuit From Fairfield

The 24 year old was booked on several charges.

A Vacaville man was arrested on burglary, vandalism and other charges after a pursuit from Fairfield to Vacaville early Monday morning, police said.

A woman called Fairfield police around 4 a.m. about a disturbance by someone she knew outside her home in the 5100 block of Woodward Lane, police said.

As police were responding other neighbors reported hearing several gunshots and the woman who first called police confirmed the man had fired a gun outside her home, Police said. Police pursued the suspect’s vehicle north on Peabody Road into Vacaville and Vacaville police took over the pursuit.

The suspect abandoned the vehicle in the 5000 block of Quinn Road and ran into an apartment, Fairfield police said.

Fairfield police responded and arrested D’Jon Tillman, 24, of Vacaville. He was booked in the Solano County Jail for burglary, vandalism, making criminal threats, illegal discharge of a firearm, evading an officer in a vehicle and obstructing an officer, Fairfield police said.
