Vacaville Shooting Suspect Surrenders In Contra Costa Co.
BREAKING: One person was hospitalized in the shooting.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- Vacaville police said Thursday afternoon that after an extensive search for a suspect in a shooting this morning that left one person injured, the suspect surrendered to authorities at the Pittsburg Police Department and has been arrested. The shooting in the 600 block of Fox Pointe Road was reported by the Vacaville Police Department on social media at 10:26 a.m.
The suspect was later identified by police as 19-year-old Odis Johnson IV, who was believed to be driving a silver Toyota Echo with license No. 6WIR295.
The injured person was being treated at a local hospital and his family was being notified, police said earlier Thursday. An update on his condition was not immediately available.

The shooting prompted a brief lockdown at Foxboro Elementary, but the lockdown has since been lifted, police said.
Detectives remained at the scene of the shooting for hours as they searched for the weapon used in the shooting.
