Veterans, Military, Families Get Free Parking and Launching at Solano County Parks

From the County of Solano:

In honor of Veterans Day, Solano County Parks invites local military personnel and their families to enjoy a day of hiking, picnicking, boating or fishing at a County Park through Friday, Nov. 14.

Solano County is waiving the daily parking fee ($5 per vehicle) and boat launch fee ($10 per launch with parking) at County Parks for active-duty, veteran or retired military personnel and dependents who present a valid military identification card, honorable discharge record (DD-214 or World War II service record) or Veterans Affairs identification card.

Note: all other park fees still apply.

This offer is good at Lake Solano County Park (near Winters), Belden’s Landing Boat Launch (Suisun), and Sandy Beach County Parks (Rio Vista) through Fri., Nov. 14.
