Weekend Planner April 15-17

Friday:

Beginning at 10:00 am, the Vacaville Total Home & Garden Show will be hosting a triple Ribbon Cutting/Grand Opening event with the Dixon, Fairfield-Suisun & Vacaville Chamber of Commerces and a live coffee-break with 95.3 KUIC.  The event is set to coincide with the kick off of this weekend's Total Home & Garden Show located at 50 Nut Tree Road (behind the Nut Tree Complex and next to Lowe’s Home Improvement). 

Saturday:

Dixon Little League Baseball Family Day is set for today from 8:30-5 p.m. at the Hall Park Baseball Complex (Hall Park Drive & E. Mayes St.). smoked barbequed tri-tip sandwiches will be on sale beginning at 10 a.m. until they're going, going, gone. The Snack Stand will be open all day with funnel cakes, snow cones and other goodies. In addition there will be a hit-a-thon for all little league players, raffle prizes and baseball games throughout the day. All are welcome. Please spend a fun day with family & friends supporting our little league baseball kids.

Sunday: 

Experience the treasures of the George Gershwin Songbook.  Considered one of the most prolific American composers of all time, Gershwin songs such as S'Wonderful, Someone to Watch Over Me and Nice Work If You Can Get It remain standards today. Enjoy some of San Francisco's hottest musical talent in the intimacy of the Cafe Theatre in an evening dedicated to the music of this golden composer (and his lyricist brother, Ira). Light bites, desserts and drinks available for sale. At the Napa Valley Opera House beginning at 4 p.m.
