Are you looking for something nearby to do this weekend? Check out some of the cool things on the Dixon Patch Events Calendar and see if there's something for you.

Friday:  

Join Relay for Life's Dixon Chicks and Friends for a night of fun. Come on over  for a couple games of bowling, pizza and soda and then buy a raffle ticket or two, knowing it’s all for a great cause.

If you go: $25.00 per person buys you shoes, games, pizza and soda.  The fun goes from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at the Stars Recreation Center, 155 Browns Valley Parkway in Vacaville. For more information call 707-761-5188.

Saturday:

Come on over to Sober Grad Night Community Rummage Sale, The high school parking lot will be filled with treasures to be discovered, crafts, baked good and more.  Want a table?  $25.00 will buy you a 20x20 spot.

Saturday:  

Didn’t make it to Opening Day of the Dixon Farmer’s Market last Saturday? That’s okay, they'll be around every Saturday for a while.  Come on over to the market this morning and fill up your bags with fresh veggies and fruits.  

If you go: The market is open from 8 a.m. to noon at the Women’s Improvement Club Park in Downtown Dixon. Don’t forget to bring your bag.

Saturday:

Enjoy a night of dance from a variety of styles at Dixon High School's Dance Show. The show is a benefit for the DHS Dance Team, Pride Gymnastics, Dixon Dance Studio and Galena Street East. The dancers will be showing off a wide variety of dance styles, from jazz to hip-hop.

If you go: Tickets are available at the door for $10 or you can purchase tickets from Dixon Dance, Pride Gymnastics, Galena Street East or by e-mailing dhs.danceteam@yahoo.com for the pre-sale amount of $8.


Sunday:

The Vacaville Ballet Theatre presents “The  Wizard of Oz” with brand new choreography from Artistic Director Heidi LuMaye and original costumes designed by Cheri Glankler. “The Wizard of Oz” is the perfect way to spend a spring day with the whole family.

If you go:  Sunday has a matinee at 2 p.m and tickets range from $14-$19. The Vacavillle Performing Arts Theatre as at 1010 Ulatis Drive in Vacaville. You can buy your tickets here.
