1 In 4 Dublin Households Have Yet To Respond To Census
Census takers will come knocking on the doors of people who have not responded August 11.
DUBLIN, CA — Though Dublin residents are a bit more responsive to the 2020 census than they were in 2010, one in four households still have not completed the census, data shows.
Census-takers will start going around to each house that has not responded on August 11. Participation in the census in mandatory.
In Dublin, 72 percent of households have completed the census, which gives the government an idea of how many people are in the country and helps them decide how to apportion congressional seats and allocate funding. Still, Dublin's rate is much higher than the state average: 63 percent.

In 2010, Dublin maxed out at 71 percent before census-takers came knocking, urging people to complete their form.
