COEUR D'ALENE, IDAHO — An Idaho adult film star said that she wants to be placed in the Dublin Federal Correctional Institution for women after pleading guilty to trying to hire a hitman for $5,000, KHQ reported. The Dublin prison has trade school programs that Danforth said she wishes to enroll in, the station reported.
Katrina L. Danforth, 32, admitted to trying to hire a hitman to kill the father of one of her children, the U.S. Attorney's Office District of Idaho said in a press release. She was sentenced Wednesday to 10 years in prison for using interstate commerce facilities in soliciting the hitman — an undercover police officer — by mailing him $2,500.
Danforth met with the officer many times before her arrest in Dec. 2018, KHQ reported.
