Alameda County Deputy In Critical Condition Due To COVID-19
The Alameda County Sheriff's Office asked the public for prayers and positive energy as the deputy battled for his life.
ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — An Alameda County Sheriff's deputy is fighting for his life in the intensive unit as he battles COVID-19, the sheriff's office said.
On Twitter, the sheriff's office urged members of the public who "believe in prayer or the power of love and positive energy" to direct kind thoughts to the senior deputy and his family.
The sheriff's office posted a photo of the deputy holding a gloved hand while laying in his hospital bed.
