Alameda County Preparing For Surge Of Covid-19 Patients

Alameda County is aware that California's Disaster Healthcare Volunteer system has recently adapted to help with this COVID response.

In anticipation for a greater surge of COVID-19 patients, Alameda County is collecting information from those who work in medical and health care settings, and who are willing to work shifts in alternate patient care locations within the county. They are seeking: doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, EMTs, paramedics, medical assistants, phlebotomists, respiratory techs, ER techs, X-ray techs, pharmacists, pharmacy techs, social workers, registration clerks, nutrition staff, housekeeping, IT, security, maintenance, and others. There may also be a need for translation services.

If you are available and willing to work in any of these capacities, please complete the form. If you are willing to volunteer in any of these positions, please note “VOLUNTEER” in the section asking for whom you work.

Alameda County is aware that California’s Disaster Healthcare Volunteer system has recently adapted to help with this COVID response. If you are a licensed medical/health professional, please submit your information through this link in addition to completing the Alameda County survey. At this time, this is simply a gathering of information on the prospective workforce. Currently, there are no established schedules or locations.
