DUBLIN, CA — The Alameda County Sheriff's Office said it confiscated illegally made alcohol from Santa Rita inmates in Dublin, ahead of Super Bowl Sunday.

There would be no Super Bowl party at the jail, the Sheriff's Office wrote in a post to its Instagram page.

Deputies searched cells rounded up more than a dozen trash bags filled with juice and fruit, which can be fermented to make alcohol, the sheriff's office said. There were bags filled with oranges and juices that ranged in color from green to orange.
