The Alameda County Sheriff's Office said it is taking precautions with those who enter the Dublin facility.

DUBLIN, CA — The Alameda County Sheriff's Office is taking precautions to do its best to ensure the new coronavirus is not spread among Santa Rita Jail inmates.
All inmates and staff are screened for the virus upon entry and anyone who is symptomatic will be sent to receive medical care, the sheriff's office said. Visitors are not permitted at this time but video visitation is allowed.
The Dublin facility at 5325 Broder Blvd. is the third-largest jail in California and the fifth-largest in the country. It can accommodate 4,000 inmates across 18 housing units on the 113-acre site, the sheriff's office said on its website.
