DUBLIN, CA — A new Mexican restaurant has opened at 4814 Dublin Boulevard at Hacienda Crossings, the former site of Black Angus Steakhouse that has been vacant for five years.
El Dorado Modern Mexican & Cantina “was born from a passion for authentic Mexican cuisine, reinvented with a contemporary and sophisticated touch. Each dish tells a story, each flavor evokes a memory,” the restaurant said on its website.
The menu features classic appetizers like nachos, queso fundido, and chips and salsa. Guests can also build their own tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, and bowls. There are also seafood, birrio, and brunch menus, as well as juice, coffee, Mexican soft drinks, desserts, and a kids menu. The restaurant also contains a bar with TVs, which are currently broadcasting World Cup games, according to one Yelp review.
On Yelp, the new restaurant has a 4.9-star rating. Visitors praised the enchiladas, guacamole, burritos, service, decor, prices, portions, and service.
