DUBLIN, CA — The Dublin Unified School District is the fourth best school district in Alameda County, according to ranking website Niche. It ranks behind the Albany City Unified School District (3rd), Pleasanton Unified School District (2nd), and Piedmont City Unified School District.
DUSD ranked 14th in the Bay Area and 43rd in California.

The district received an overall grade of A+, based on quantitative data and parent and student surveys. Its academics and college prep received an A+, and teachers received an A. Its lowest score was food, which received a C plus.
Dublin High School was ranked the ninth best public high school in Alameda County (the best was Piedmont High School in Piedmont). It received an overall grade of A+.
Emerald High School received rankings this year, including 437th among the best high schools for STEM in California and 141st in the Bay Area.
Wells Middle School received an A, and was ranked the 12th best public middle school in Alameda County.
Fallon Middle School received an A, and was ranked the 10th best public middle school in Alameda County.
Nearby, Pleasanton Unified School District received an overall grade of A+, and was ranked 2nd in Alameda County, 5th in the Bay Area, and 17th in California. Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District received an overall grade of A, and was ranked 9th in Alameda County, 23rd in the Bay Area, and 93rd in California.
San Ramon Valley Unified School District was ranked the second best school district in Contra Costa County, the 9th best in the Bay Area, and 27th in California.
Palo Alto Unified School District was ranked the best school district in the Bay Area, overtaking Mountain View-Los Altos Union High School District. La Cañada Unified School District was ranked the best in California, while Glenbrook High School District in suburban Chicago was ranked the best school district in the nation.
Rankings are calculated based on academic performance, input from students, alumni and parents, as well as quantitative data from sources such as the U.S. Department of Education.
