The four-story project, sponsored by Eden Housing, will sit within the larger Francis Ranch neighborhood and include parking, a courtyard, fitness center, and community room.
• Detectives allegedly find evidence that couple defaced images of son-in-law before fatally shooting him (truecrimenews.com) — Detectives say new evidence suggests an elderly couple may have fixated on their son-in-law before he was fatally shot at a Dublin park in September. Court filings describe a bitter divorce, prior abuse allegations, and defaced photos, while the in-laws remain jailed and plan to seek pretrial release under nonfinancial conditions.
• ICE arrest reported near Santa Rita Jail in Dublin (pleasantonweekly.com) — ICE agents recently arrested someone near Santa Rita Jail in Dublin, prompting concern and know-your-rights outreach from local immigrant support groups. Dublin's mayor stressed that city police do not enforce federal immigration law and urged anyone in Dublin who needs help or has been a crime victim to feel safe contacting local police despite the federal activity.
