Annual Walk Held To Honor Dublin Teen Kidnapped In 1989

Ilene Misheloff was 13 when was kidnapped while walking home from school. There is a $95,000 for anyone with information about her.

DUBLIN, CA — The annual candlelight walk for Ilene Misheloff, kidnapped at age 13, was held Thursday along the same route she took home from school. She went missing Jan. 30, 1989 while heading home from Wells Middle School.

The investigation into Ilene's disappearance continues in an effort to return Ilene safely to her parents Mike and Maddi Misheloff. The Misheloffs continue to hold out hope that their beloved daughter will someday return.

The walk will began at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, at Wells Middle (6800 Penn Drive). It will end at Saint Raymond Church (11555 Shannon Ave.), where a prayer service was held, the City of Dublin announced.

There is currently a $95,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the subject(s) responsible for Ilene's disappearance. Anyone with information regarding Ilene's disappearance should contact Dublin Police Sergeant Alan Corpuz at (925) 833-6682. All tips will remain anonymous.
