Back To School In Dublin: What To Know

DUBLIN, CA — Time flies when you’re having fun, and the summer is already over. On Thursday, Dublin Unified students will return to the classroom. Here are some dates and info to know as families prepare for another school year.

• Aug. 11: First day of school
• Sept. 5: Labor Day
• Sept. 16: Staff development/no school
• Oct. 6-7: No school
• Nov. 11: Veterans Day
• Nov. 18 No school for K-8 students
• Nov. 21-25: Thanksgiving holiday
• Dec. 23 - Jan. 6: Winter Holiday
• Jan. 16: MLK Day
• Feb. 20: President’s Day
• April 3-7: Spring break
• May 29: Memorial Day
• June 1: Last day (grades 9-12)
• June 2: Last day (grades K-8)

COVID protocols remain unchanged from the end of last year. Masks remain optional but recommended.

Testing is available at all school sites twice a week and at the York Alternative Learning Center at 6901 York Drive, Dublin Tuesdays and Fridays from 7:45 to 7 p.m., and Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 to 5.
