118 Acres Burned In Dublin Brush Fire
Smoke from the blaze blanketed the Tri-Valley area.

DUBLIN, CA — A brush fire reported in Dublin Tuesday afternoon burned about 118 acres and is about 75 percent contained, fire officials said. A mandatory evacuation order issued to residents in the area of Signal Hill Drive, Cog Hill Terrace, Saddle Creek Terrace and Avellina Drive at about 4:30 p.m. has since been lifted. City officials said Fallon Sports Park and Emerald Glen Park are closed to recreational use the rest of the day due to heavy smoke lingering in the area.
The blaze was reported in the area of Tassajara and Fallon roads just before 2 p.m. Tuesday. No structures were damaged, and no injuries were reported.
Patch spotted aircraft in the area, fighting the flames. Alameda County Fire, Livermore-Pleasanton Fire, Cal Fire and Dublin Police Services all responded to assist.
