DUBLIN, CA — Multiple suspects attempted to rob a Dublin jewelry store Friday afternoon, according to the Dublin Police Services. This marks the second reported armed robbery in the Tri-Valley this week.

At around 1:58 p.m., DPS responded to a report of a burglary at BJ Jewellers at 6616 Dublin Boulevard. According to a preliminary investigation, suspects used a white Lexus to back into and breach the store's security gates. After gaining entry, multiple suspects exited several vehicles and entered the business, police said.

The store owner, who was not present at the time, had proactively removed all merchandise from display cases after hearing about another jewelry store burglary in Fremont. As a result, the suspects left empty-handed.
