Three Local 6-Year-Old Authors to Read Their Own Published Books at Dublin Library, Aug 4
Event Details
On Tuesday, August 4th, the Dublin Library is hosting a special live storytime where three local children — all just six years old — will stand up and read their own published books to their peers. My son Ayansh is one of them: he wrote his first book at five and his second at six.
This ties into a bigger three-generation family writing story that KQED Perspectives aired this week — listen here: kqed.org/perspectives
Ayansh's books, along with our other published work, are through The Sapling Press, a boutique publishing venture helping local kids turn their imagination into real, illustrated books. You can see our press coverage and published work here: thesaplingpress.com/press-media-page
Come cheer on Dublin's youngest published authors at the Dublin Library on Aug 4!
