🧯September is National Preparedness Month, and there is no better time to make sure you and your family are ready for an emergency.

Join the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department for our 2026 Fire Safety Expo on Saturday, October 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the LPFD Training Tower in Pleasanton.

This free community event is about more than watching firefighters in action. It is an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and take simple steps to help your household be better prepared.

Community members will have the opportunity to:

📌Watch live firefighter demonstrations

📌Participate in fire extinguisher training

📌Meet local CERT members and learn more about community preparedness

📌Sign up for emergency notification systems and other preparedness resources

📌Bring the kids out for our obstacle course and family friendly activities

🥞 Enjoy a free pancake breakfast hosted by the Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters Foundation.

Preparedness starts before an emergency happens. We hope you will join us, meet your firefighters and community partners, and leave with tools and information that can help keep you and your family safe.
