Car Crashes Into Traffic Light Pole In Dublin

DUBLIN, CA — A car crashed into a traffic light at the northwest corner of the intersection of Amador Valley Boulevard and San Ramon Road in Dublin. A photo tweeted by Dublin Police Services shows the pole on top of the car, which has a smashed front.

The crash was a solo crash that took out a signal pole with a mast arm, city spokesperson Shari Jackman said. Public Works said that it's aiming to fix the light by the evening commute.

The west side of the intersection will remain closed to eastbound traffic, but drivers can go westbound on Amador Valley Boulevard and turn onto San Ramon Road.
