Chess Classes and Summer Chess Camp in Tri-valley

King's Land Chess offers professional chess classes for youth in Tri-Valley

King's Land Chess is a San Ramon based chess academy focused on improving youth chess education, we locate at 2410 San Ramon Valley Blvd suite 225, San Ramon, CA 94583. KLC is founded by FIDE Trainer Kiki Chen in 2012. We aim to develop successful chess kids who excel not only on the game, but in life. We offer professional chess lessons for youth players from beginner to master level, intensive chess camps and summer/winter chess camps. Seven levels chess classes start throughout the year, students are welcome to join us any time. 12 lessons in each session. 2018 Summer Chess are enrolling now.

Coach Kiki Chen is World Chess Federation FIDE Trainer Level professional coach and USCF Advanced Level coach. She was the captain of China national youth team.

In over ten years, coach Kiki Chen has trained 1000+ youth chess players in US and China. Her students have won numerous prizes in local, state, national and international chess tournaments, many students won champions and national champions. Dozens of students rank top 100 in different age-group of US top chess player lists. Over dozen students are qualified for US national team.

Chess Classes Level

Preschooler Level, $360/session
Attend: Age 4-5 Brand new students.
Request: No prior Chess knowledge required.
Time: Thursday Afternoon 3:15-4:00 (45 min)

Introduction Level (new players), $385/session
Attend: Age 5+ Brand New Students.
Request: NO Prior chess knowledge required.
Time: Sunday Morning 10:30-11:30 (60 min)

Entry Level, $385/session
Attend: Age 5+
Request: Know basic rules of chess and how to move all the pieces.
Time: Thursday Afternoon 4:15-5:15 (60 min)
Saturday Morning 9:15-10:15 (60 min)
Sunday Afternoon 2:00-3:00 (60 min)

Intermediate I, $385/session
Attend: Rating 500-800
Request: Know basic skills (basic tactics and strategies).
Time: Friday Afternoon 3:30-4:30 (60 min)
Saturday Morning 10:30-11:30 (60 min)

Intermediate II, $450/session
Attend: Rating 800-1000
Request: Know middle game strategies and ending rules.
Time: Sunday Afternoon 12:30-1:45 (75 min)

Advanced I, $540/session
Attend: Rating 1000+
Request: With tournament experience and know how to plan in middle game.
Time: Friday Afternoon 4:45-6:15 (90 min)
Saturday Afternoon 12:30-2:00 (90 min)

Elite Group, $600/session
Attend: Rating 1600+
Request: Tournament experienced players who are rated 1300 or above. Players are willing to receive more professional training.
Time: Sunday Afternoon 3:15-5:15 (120 min)
