Launched in 2019, the Measure A1-funded Program provides financial home buying assistance to low- and middle-income working households, with priority given to First Responders and Educators (including public school employees and childcare providers). AC Boost has so far helped 78 households buy their first home in Alameda County.

Eligible buyers must either a) currently live or work in Alameda County or b) have been displaced from a home in Alameda County in the last 10 years. Applicants' household income must be at or below 120% of the Area Median Income ("AMI") to qualify for a loan of up to $160,000. Those with a household income at or below 100% AMI may qualify for a larger loan of up to $210,000. These Down Payment Assistance funds can also be used in combination with the City of Dublin’s First Time Homebuyer Loan Program.
