Tasting Pavilion passports may be purchased online in advance of the popular event.

Announcement, logo submitted by City of Dublin:

The City of Dublin celebrates food, wine, and “art with a twist” at its fourth annual Splatter event on Saturday, September 19, at Emerald Glen Park (4201 Central Parkway). The event begins at noon and will conclude with a concert, beginning at 6:30 p.m., featuring the Bay Area “mash-up” cover band The Peelers, followed by a spectacular overhead laser light show at 8:00 p.m. Admission to the festival is free; however, there is a charge for certain activities, including children’s carnival rides and games, and Splatter’s signature Tasting Pavilion.

The Tasting Pavilion will be open from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., offering adult guests an opportunity to sample wine, beer, and gourmet food from many of the area’s finest restaurants, wineries, and breweries. Tasting Pavilion passports, good for 18 samples, are $30 in advance and $35 at the door; half-ports, good for nine samples, are available for $25 at the door. Tasting Pavilion admissions are limited, so advanced purchase is strongly recommended. Tasting Pavilion passports may be purchased online in advance of the event at www.dublinsplatter.com.

Splatter features fun, family-friendly art activities, unusual art installations, artist demonstrations, a culinary stage, live music on two stages, a craft and culinary marketplace, a wine bar, and food vendors, including a caravan of food trucks.
