DUBLIN, CA — Alameda County Sheriff's deputies saved the life of an inmate found laying on the floor of his cell, struggling to breathe, the sheriff's office said.
Deputies found the man around noon Monday, face-up on the floor, with a torn piece of his shirt around his neck. A deputy called for medics while another got safety scissors, the sheriff's office said.
