Director Resigns from Dublin San Ramon Services District
Board members will consider how to fill the Dawn Benson's seat when they meet at a regular meeting Sept. 1.

One of the five board members of the Dublin San Ramon Services District resigned abruptly Wednesday to pursue another position in the agency, according to the district and a letter from the member. Director Dawn Benson served the board for five years and resigned after talking with attorneys about applying for the open position, Benson said in her resignation letter.
“For me to be on the safe side of the application process, resigning from the board is necessary,” her letter said.
Benson will be applying for an executive services supervisor position, which involves directing and overseeing a district records management program, according to her letter and an ad for the job.
