District To Appoint Provisional Board Member For Trustee Area 4

From Dublin Schools:During the Special Board Meeting held on October 30, 2018, the Board of Trustees took action to make a provisional appointment to fill the board seat recently vacated by Mr. Joe Giannini. The candidate selected to fill the position will serve the remainder of Mr. Giannini’s four-year term, ending in December 2020. Prospective candidates must reside in the same Trustee Area as Mr. Giannini – Area 4 – to be considered for the appointment. To check an address to see if it is within Area 4, below is a link to an interactive Trustee Area map on the District’s website.

Effective immediately, an application packet is available for download on the Dublin Unified School District website (www.DublinUSD.org). Additional materials, including the related resolution (2018/19-16), an outline of the process and timeline, as well as a link to a video of the October 30 board meeting, are also available for review.
Application Deadline

Those interested in filling the vacant seat are asked to complete and submit the attached application by 4:00 pm on November 19, 2018.
