Dougherty Road Lane Shift Will Likely Cause Delays
BREAKING: The shift is needed so the construction of the median islands and center traffic lanes may begin.

DUBLIN, CA – Drivers in Dublin and San Ramon may experience delays as the two northbound lanes on Dougherty Road between Scarlett Drive and the city limits are shifted to the east. The shift, which began on Friday morning, is needed so the construction of the median islands and center traffic lanes may begin.
Construction on Dougherty Road began in 2016. Once completed, the road will also have new bus stops, bus pull-outs, street lighting and landscaped medians.
During construction, the speed limit on Dougherty Road will be reduced to 30 mph through the construction zone. DeSilva Gates Construction L.P. is handling the improvements. Drivers are asked to use caution in construction zones.
