Dublin Camera Store Robbed Of Roughly $80K In Merchandise: Police
Police are searching for five armed robbery suspects who stole $80,000 from Mike's Camera on Regional Street and then fled.
DUBLIN, CA — Dublin police are seeking five suspects who stole approximately $80,000 in merchandise from Mike’s Camera in Dublin last Wednesday.
At about 10 a.m. on Dec. 14, Dublin police were called to Mike’s Camera on 7192 Regional Street in Dublin following reports of an armed robbery, according to a department news release. Suspects entered the business and pointed handguns at a store employee in a takeover robbery, according to the police report.
Suspects then reportedly smashed display cases and stole approximately $80,000 in merchandise from the business. The suspects then fled the business and entered a nearby vehicle, police said.

Responding officers searched the area for the suspects and their vehicle, but did not find anything. As of Thursday, Dec. 22, officers have still not located the suspects.
A further investigation found that there were five suspects involved in the robbery. Witnesses described them as dark-skinned males in their early 20s wearing dark clothing, hoods over their heads, masks covering their faces, and gloves. No vehicle description is being offered at this time.

The investigation is still active. Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Dublin Police Services at 925-833-6670.
Mike’s Camera is a locally owned store providing cameras and photographic equipment since 1967.
On Tuesday, Dec. 13, two men were arrested in Danville for a strong-arm robbery at a Lucky’s in Dublin.
