Dublin To Celebrate "Dublin Pride Week"
Pride Week, an annual week-long series of events promoting volunteerism and environmental awareness, is scheduled for April 22-29.

Dublin Pride Week, the City of Dublin’s annual week-long series of events, promoting volunteerism and environmental awareness, will be held April 22 - 29. The theme of Dublin Pride Week this year is, “Dublin: Stronger Together!” Residents and groups interested in volunteering can visit the Dublin Pride Week website at www.dublinprideweek.com or call (925) 556-4500.

Volunteers will meet at the Emerald Glen Park Amphitheater (4201 Central Parkway) on Saturday, April 22, at 8:00 a.m., for a light breakfast and to receive their volunteer assignments. They’ll return to Emerald Glen Park at noon for a community barbecue provided by the Dublin Lions Club. Volunteers who help on Volunteer Day will receive a complimentary day pass to The Wave Waterpark, valid for the 2023 Season.
Volunteer Day activities will include cleaning up creeks and trails; performing beautification projects, such as planting trees and plants; and collecting litter.

Other Dublin Pride Week activities include a Volunteer Resource Fair, a Children's Emergency Food Bank Food Drive; the 3rd Annual Plogging Challenge; the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Event; a Poster and Essay Contest; the "Nature in Our Backyard" Photography Contest; and a Compost Giveaway.
