Dublin Celebrates Manufacturing Day on October 2

Nationwide over 1,500 firms will be celebrating modern manufacturing to inspire the next generation of manufacturers.

Did you know that manufacturing jobs are high wage and high growth? In addition, manufacturing is a driver of the East Bay economy, contributing 70,000+ jobs, and is an important segment of Dublin’s economy. On Friday, October 2, students and other interested parties are invited to tour two Dublin manufacturing facilities to learn about some rewarding job opportunities in our community.

Attendees will have a chance to tour MicroDental Laboratories (5601 Arnold Drive, Dublin) from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by a tour of AMP Printing (6955 Sierra Court, Dublin) from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Space is limited, so registration is required. Participants will also receive a gift bag for attending.
