Dublin Distance Fiesta Brings 4,200 Athletes From 241 Schools To Dublin High
Dublin High hosts the nation's largest distance-only track meet Friday and Saturday.
DUBLIN, CA — Dublin High School will host the 17th annual Dublin Distance Fiesta Friday and Saturday, the largest distance-only meet in the country by participation.
This year's meet is expected to feature more than 4,200 athletes from 241 schools from the Tri-Valley and across California and Nevada, the largest event to date. Athletes will compete in the 800m, 1600m, 3200m, distance medley relay, and 4x800 relay across two days of competition.
In 2025, 371 girls ran under 6 minutes in the 1600-meter race, and 591 boys broke the 5-minute barrier, two global participation records.

The meet will also feature the Dublin Distance Fiesta Middle School Mile Exhibition on Friday night, a race for middle school students.
