The California Department of Public Health classifies St. Patrick’s Day as an “outdoor mega-event,” which consists of 5,000 or more people.
The CDPH recommends that all attendees are either fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test, with an antigen test conducted one day prior, and a PCR test conducted two days prior. There will not be any verification of vaccine or COVID status, city spokesperson Shari Jackman confirmed to Patch.
