Dublin High Catering Class Inspires School For Deaf In Fremont

California School for the Deaf in Fremont culinary students paid a visit to Dublin High to learn about its catering program.

DUBLIN, CA — Dublin High School's catering classes whipped up marinara sauce, pumpkin muffins and maple brown sugar bacon with the help of some guests from the California School for the Deaf in Fremont, which is considering starting its own catering program.

An instructor and students from the culinary program stopped by the Dublin campus. They whisked, stirred and plopped balls of cookie dough onto parchment paper with the help of Dublin High's industrial kitchen, the school wrote on Facebook.

Some students even got a chance to practice their American Sign Language skills.
