2014 Dublin High School HOMECOMING INFORMATION
Please note the changes in times from previous years. The Parade will be starting at 4:00 p.m., and the football game times have been pushed back to 5:00 JV/7:30 Varsity. Street closures on Parade Day will not begin until 3:15 p.m.

OVERALL THEME: Cities

Seniors: New York (decorating area in front of Student Union)

Juniors: Los Angeles (decorating area in front of Performing Arts Center)

Sophomores: Honolulu (decorating front of Library near the “Big Tree”)

Freshmen: Las Vegas (decorating courtyard between C store and L/M and N buildings)

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9TH-Homecoming Nominees announced-Homecoming Dance Tickets go on Sale in Student Activities

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 11TH-Meeting @ Lunch in Leadership room for DHS Clubs & organizations participating in Carnival

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12TH-Meeting with Nominees/Car Show Participants/Parade Drivers @ Lunch in Leadership room-Drawing for DHS Clubs/Organizations participating in Carnival after School in Leadership room

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 15TH:-Athletic Jersey Day (tallies taken before school by the Big Tree in front of the Library)-Full Dress Rehearsal for all Skits in Sports Complex

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16THth:-Twin Day (tallies taken before school by the Big Tree in front of the Library)-Homecoming Elections before school & after school by Big Tree in front of Library-Car Show/Homecoming Elections at Lunch (near Football Stadium Entrance)

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 17th:-‘Merica Day (tallies taken before school by Big Tree in front of the Library)-Lunchtime Competitions for Homecoming Points by Big Tree in front of Library-Homecoming Rally in Sports Complex @ 7:00 p.m. (Skits/Senior King/Class Prince/Princesses)

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 18TH:-Area Decorations (5:30-7:30 a.m.): areas listed above-Homecoming/Class Shirt Day (tallies before school by Big Tree in front of Library)-Final Day of Ticket Sales for Homecoming Dance-Float/Carnival Construction/Wristband Distribution (3-7:30 p.m.)

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH: (classes 56 minutes/lunch 35 minutes; dismissal @ 2:49)-Gael Force “Game Day” Dress-Up (tallies before school by Big Tree in front of Library)-Homecoming Parade (Parkway Fellowship Church to Dublin Swim Center, 4:00 p.m.)-Homecoming Carnival (Next to Varsity Baseball Field, 4:00-7:00 p.m)-Homecoming Football Game (JV-5:00; Varsity-7:30; Senior Queen crowned @ Halftime)
