Dublin Home Catches Fire Sunday Night: ACFD
Investigators said the fire was caused by a battery and flashlight explosion.
DUBLIN, CA — A home in Dublin caught fire late Sunday night due to an emergency battery and flashlight explosion, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.
Crews responded to a structure fire on the 3700 block of Ferncroft Way at around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, ACFD spokesperson Cheryl Hurd told Patch. The fire was confined to one room, and no firefighters or community members were injured, Hurd said.
