The basis of Kuk Sool is the development of "Ki"(Internal Power). Therefore, Kuk Sool is considered an internal martial arts system. However, it is difficult to classify Kuk Sool under any one name due to its vastness.
Several of the school’s recent Black Belt promotions involved siblings and Master Saidi’s own children, two of whom are already black belts, also train at this school.
The next major event on the martial arts school calendar is a visit from Grandmaster In Hyuk Suh, the Founder of Kuk Sool and the President of the World Kuk Sool Association who will arrive in October for the annual Seminar.
