Dublin Unified Names Teachers Of The Year

The Dublin Unified School District released the names of its 2022-23 District Teacher of the Year, and School Site Teachers of the Year.

DUBLIN, CA - The Dublin Unified School District Tuesday announced its Teachers of the Year for all of its schools, as well as a district-wide Teacher of the Year.

Chelsie Avila, a kindergarten teacher at Green Elementary School, was named 2022-23 Teacher of the Year for being an “exceptional and dedicated teacher.”

“She motivates the children using a balance of knowledge, compassion, and creativity. She is an exceptional and dedicated teacher who focuses on the youngest, and the most vulnerable students in our community,” the district said of Avila in a statement.
