DUBLIN, CA — The Dublin Pleasanton Tennis Group won the U.S. Tennis Association Northern California Tri-Level Invitational at the Blackhawk Country Club. The team qualified for the National Championships for the ninth time, following wins over teams from San Ramon and Fremont.

The DPTG team won a national championship in 2022, were runners-up in 2024 and 2025, and represented USTA NorCal nine times in four years. It also marked the team’s first time reaching nationals with a tri-level team that included players from across the 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 skill divisions.

"While we have had great success in the 3.0 and 3.5 divisions, this is the first time we’ve made it to Nationals in the Tri-Level 3.0/3.5/4.0 category," said Group Mentor Narayana Rao Surapaneni. "The competition in Diablo South is incredible. Our second team finished 5th overall, missing the semis by just one set. Having two DPTG teams in the top five standings alongside San Ramon and Fremont proves the immense depth of talent in our local tennis community."
