Dublin Police Seek Neighborhood Watch Block Contacts
Block Contacts serve as liaisons between the city and Neighborhood Watch members.
DUBLIN, CA — Dublin Police Services is currently looking for residents to serve as Block Contacts for its Neighborhood Watch Program.
Neighborhood Watch is a team approach in which Dublin residents work with each other, with city staff and with police to reduce crime.
Each Neighborhood Watch group is maintained by a Block Contact (previously known as Block Captain). Block Contacts serve as liaisons between the city and Neighborhood Watch members, and they disseminate safety information and program notifications to their respective groups.

Block Contacts also keep their Neighborhood Watch contact rosters up to date and organize regular meetings or activities to keep their groups' interest in the program.
