Dublin Presents 3rd Annual 'splatter . . . not your ordinary food, wine & art festival'

The event is on Sept. 20. Passports for the Tasting Pavilion are available for purchase online now.

The 3rd Annual “splatter . . . not your ordinary food, wine & art festival” will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2014, in the beautiful outdoor setting of Emerald Glen Park, located at Tassajara Road and Central Parkway. This unique event is equal parts food and wine with a heavy dose of spectacular art.

A highlight of “splatter” is the unique Tasting Pavilion, featuring more than two dozen of the Tri-Valley’s finest wineries and restaurants. The event will also include roaming entertainment in addition to live musical performances on multiple stages. This unconventional flavor-fest of food and wine will also be complemented by unique works of art created in out-of-the-ordinary mediums such as bubbles, produce, textiles, and words. Some of the exciting new art-as-entertainment installations will include a giant participatory Lego build and a huge food, art, and wine-themed textile sculpture. An art and culinary marketplace, themed carnival games, and mobile food trucks from Off the Grid will round out the attractions.

The event will be held from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Tasting Pavilion hours are from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The evening will conclude with a finale concert featuring Double Funk Crunch at 6:30 PM, followed by an aerial fireworks display at 8:00 PM.
