Dublin Pride Week 2018: See List Of Community Events
Pick from numerous projects and workshops that benefit the community & environment, and teach your children the importance of volunteering!

DUBLIN, CA – Dublin Pride Week, the City of Dublin’s annual week-long series of events to promote volunteerism and environmental awareness, will be Saturday, April 28 through Saturday, May 5 -- and the call is out for volunteers.
This year's Pride Week theme, “Every Action Counts,” seeks to highlight ways residents and groups can improve the community, and the world, through even the smallest of positive acts. Volunteers are also needed to assist with multiple service projects planned for Volunteer Day on Saturday, April 28.
In 2017, nearly 400 volunteers assisted on such community projects as helping seniors with household maintenance and yard work, school and park beautification with painting and landscape work. Additionally, residents donated much-needed food to local food banks, city officials said.

“Time and time again, the Dublin community has shown its true spirit and heart through Dublin Pride Week activities,” Mayor David Haubert said. “By volunteering to help clean up and beautify the City, and assist local seniors and those in need, Dublin residents demonstrate true selflessness and kindness.”
Youth are also encouraged to participate in Volunteer Day and learn new skills at a workshop. Several community, youth, and faith-based groups and service organizations will assist in providing volunteers and support for the events.
