Dublin Rotary Recognizes Community 'All-Stars'

Officials from the school district, police and fire departments were honored.

DUBLIN, CA: Earlier this month, top city employees, the school district, police and fire departments were recognized at the Dublin Rotary Club’s annual Community All-Stars event.

The event, under the direction of Melissa Strah, included presentations by retiring Superintendent Dr. Steve Hanke, Chris Foss and Linda Smith of the City, Alameda County Fire Chief Dave Roach and Dublin Police Services Chief Dennis Houghtelling and Alameda County Sheriff Greg Ahern.

Mayor Dave Haubert greeted all and in addition to the plaques shown, certificates from Congress, the California Assembly and the Board of Supervisors were presented to each winner. The Wells Middle School Jazz Band provided entertainment.
