Dublin’s St. Patrick’s Day 2017: Parade, Festival, Fun Run, Gala, Pancake Breakfast

DUBLIN, CA — The East Bay community is invited to enjoy the City of Dublin’s 34th annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities this month.

“This year’s event will also include special surprises to mark the City of Dublin’s 35th birthday,” city officials said in a statement.

Here is a full schedule of events:

  • Festival, City of Dublin - Saturday & Sunday, March 18 & 19, 2017 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. --Dublin Civic Center, 100 Civic Plaza.
  • Green and White Gala - Dublin Sister City Association, Friday, March 17, 2017 - 6 p.m. - Dublin Senior Center, 7600 Amador Valley Boulevard. Buy tickets here.
  • Pancake Breakfast - Alameda County Firefighters - Local 55, Saturday, March 18, 2017 - 7 a.m. - 10 a.m. -- Fire Station #16, 7494 Donohue Drive.
  • Parade, Dublin Lion's Club -- Saturday, March 18, 2017 - 9:30 a.m. --Amador Plaza to Dublin Boulevard to Village Parkway to Amador Valley Boulevard.
  • Shamrock 5K Fun Run and Walk, City of Dublin - Sunday, March 19, 2017 - 8:30 a.m., Race begins on Dublin Boulevard at Civic Plaza. Click here to register.

Festival admission is free, and free parking will also be available nearby. Visitors can also ride BART to either the East or West Dublin BART stations and connect for free directly to the festival by taking Wheels Rapid 30R bus. To ride for free, guests must tell the driver they are headed to the festival. Free and secure bike parking will also be available onsite. All festivities will be held rain or shine.
