DUBLIN, CA — Dan McIntyre, the general manager of the Dublin San Ramon Services District, is retiring after a 34-year career in the water and wastewater industry, DSRSD announced in a news release. The board voted unanimously to appoint Assistant General Manager Jan Lee, who will replace him effective Dec. 23. She will be the first woman to manage the district in its 70 years of existence.

McIntyre served seven years as general manager of DSRSD, during which he implemented policies to strengthen the district’s business practices and implemented a comprehensive program to plan for aging infrastructure needs, among other accomplishments.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I want to thank Dan for his many years of dedicated service to the DSRSD organization and the community it serves,” DSRSD Board President Georgean Vonheeder-Leopold said in a statement. “He will be missed.”
