Dublin Seeks Name Suggestions For Future TK-8 School
Community members can submit name ideas for the future Boulevard-area school until Thursday, Aug. 31.

DUBLIN, CA — The Dublin Unified School District is seeking public help to name a future TK-8 school in the Boulevard area.
The TK-8 Naming Committee, which is composed of students, staff, families, and residents of the Boulevard area, is accepting potential names until Thursday.
Per DUSD policy, school names must fall into at least one of these categories:

- Recognition of individuals, living or deceased, who have made outstanding contributions to the city, community, state, country, or world.
- Depiction of areas of curricular concentration or reflect special concepts or approaches to education.
- Recognition of the geographic area where the school is located.
After Thursday, the Naming Committee will review all suggestions, and potentially offer a second survey. They will ultimately provide three proposed names to the superintendent, who will forward it to the board. The board will hold two public meetings before deciding on a name.
