Dublin Senior Center, Wave Open As Cooling Centers
Both spots are open to the public as a respite from triple-digit temperatures.
DUBLIN, CA — The Dublin Senior Center and The Wave are open to the public this weekend as air-conditioned cooling centers.
Temperatures of 106 are expected in Dublin Saturday and Sunday. The Dublin Senior Center on 7600 Amador Valley Boulevard is open to all from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. It offers a lounge area with a television, computers, books, a lending library and more.
The Wave is open through Monday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The ultimate respite from the heat, it offers an indoor and outdoor pool, a splash zone, and a water slide.
