Dublin Smoothie Spot Donates Drinks To First Responders

DUBLIN, CA — Vitality Bowls in Dublin is donating a smoothie to a first responder for every smoothie purchased amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The smoothie and açaí bowl chain has served essential workers across the county, from the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose to the Windermere Police Department in Florida.

Gabi Lazar, owner of the Dublin store, said in an email that this July will mark the store's fifth anniversary. She said she's grateful to be part of the community and have an opportunity to give back.

"I am very lucky to have a strong team that working very hard to keep our buisness operating while I balance homeschooling," she wrote. "We are donating smoothies to show support to all those hard workers out there helping to keep our community safe.”
