Dublin Water Park Preview Party, Ribbon Cutting Friday

DUBLIN, CA — The wait is finally about to be over. The community was invited to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony and tour of The Wave, Dublin's 31,000 square-foot aquatic facility and water park Friday evening. The official grand opening is scheduled during the Memorial Day Grand Opening weekend on May 27.

“This is an opportunity to tour the facility before we open the water areas, and enjoy retro surf music, boardwalk snacks and a festive beach party ambiance,” city officials said in a statement.

The Wave boasts six water slides, three pools and will offer a year-round swim program. Registration is now open for Summer 2017 classes.

The water park will also offer birthday parties, picnic area rentals and fitness classes. Tickets to the park are available now. The public was recently invited to be a part of Dublin history and help name the six slides. Those selected will enjoy the first ride on the new slide.
