Dublin's Newest Elementary School Opening
The new TK-8 Shamrock Hills School will host a ribbon cutting. The school plans to welcome over 1,000 students this year.
DUBLIN, CA — Dublin will welcome its newest elementary school at a ribbon cutting event Saturday.
The Shamrock Hills School is a TK-8 school at 5500 Horizon Parkway, near Don Biddle Community Park. The $102.5 million school, funded by Measure J and Proposition 51, is designed to accommodate 1,052 students, according to the Dublin Unified School District.
There are four buildings totaling 108,144 square feet, including a gym, multi-purpose room, elementary school, and administrative and middle school buildings. The school also features a wellness center, library, science labs, an outdoor covered dining area, and more. Construction began in October 2024.

Saturday’s event will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony, campus tours, a community picnic, and food trucks.
